I will be presenting a poster in the “IN43A. Future Directions for Earth Science Data Access Technologies II Posters” on Thursday, Dec 16 at 1:40 – 6 pm (IN43A-1376: “Accessing Data via DAP in IDL”).

I will also be at the IDL user group meeting Wednesday night.

Finally, I will be hanging out at the Tech-X booth (Booth #101) quite a bit over the week; I’m usually there around lunch, but pass by regularly during the day.

If you want to meet up and can’t makae the poster session or the IDL user group meeting, contact me and maybe we can set up a time.

I'm a software developer focusing on high-performance computing and visualization in scientific programming. I work mostly in IDL, but occasionally use C, CUDA, and Python.

I currently work for the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) at the Mauna Loa Solar Observatory. Previously, I worked for Tech-X Corporation, where I was the main developer for GPULib, a library of IDL bindings for GPU accelerated computation routines.

I am the creator and main developer for the open source projects IDLdoc, mgunit, and rIDL.
